Best Practices for Securing Your Zoom Meetings

There have been a lot of articles and posts lately about the vulnerability of remote/internet meetings and web conferences. With the proper precautions and settings, you can minimize your vulnerability while conducting these meetings. Prolumina Corporate Communications recommends requiring passwords, sending the passwords separately from the email/join link, changing settings such that only the host (or certain, required parties) are allowed to screen share, ensuring you have a technical person on the call who restricts attendees to only those verified and authenticated, turning off chat features, and other best practices. Prolumina has created a more technical “how to” video on setting up web conferences for your remote depositions. Practice safe security, and you can ensure the integrity of your web meetings to the extent possible.
